Lexi + Jeffrey

When Lexi messaged me about wanting to do her bridal session and first look at sunset cliffs a few days before the wedding I was so excited! This location was on my bucket list of locations and I was so excited that Lexi and Jeffery would be the ones who I got to photograph there! They are the sweetest cutest couple!

Cannot begin to explain how GORGEOUS this sunset session was! I got there early and drove up and down the coast line hopping out any time I saw a look out point determined to find the best spot for Lexi and Jeffrey! We luckily went on a Wednesday afternoon in February so there was plenty of parking and it wasn’t too crowded on the cliffs!

When Lexi and Jeffrey arrived Lexi’s mother and I blocked her from the surfers while she changed into a stunning gown and we were able to grab some bridal portraits of her before we did the first look!

The first look took place on this gorgeous overhang, the sun was about 20 minutes from setting giving us such gorgeous colors in the sky! Highly recommend waiting for golden hour to do your session, the sunset was unmatched!

Due to traffic and unforeseen difficulties we had limited time to shoot with the couple so we jam packed as much as we could in about 30 minutes and the results speak for themselves one of my top 10 sessions for sure!

I was so nervous to shoot at Sunset Cliffs because it was a first for me and the beach can always be challenging lighting wise, but it was such an amazing experience. I recommend shooting at golden hour, trying to go on a weekday, and it is ideal in the winter/fall/spring months I can see how summer could be very busy with parking and crowds!
